Don't you just love January? It's a time of new ideas, aspirations, and dreaming of the season to come. The seed catalogues are clogging up the kitchen and the plans for this season are already well underway.
This year we've had a lot of interest and we now have more wedding bookings than ever before.
With a busy calendar of workshops, Pick Your Own weekends, not to mention weddings and events, our plans are to fill our fields with foliage and flowers and enjoy the season as much as possible!
We are certainly going to need more growing space this year. Our vintage tractor, Mehetabel has already been out carefully prepping our fields.
The 1960's Massey Ferguson is ideal for our job. She doesn't make much mess and is the right size. She's a real character and has been in the family for many many years. Here she is creating some neat rows with Dad at the wheel:
So what are our bridal trend predictions for 2018?
We reckon the greenery trend is here to stay, and that brides will continue to embrace a wild and natural style for their flowers. We are also seeing an increase in DIY brides, who are booking workshops with their bridesmaids and then doing their own arrangements!
Ultra-violet is 2018's Pantone Colour of the Year. Will it feature in our arrangements and be a big hit? Watch this space...
